The firm provides general liability defense ranging from the efficient resolution of the smallest premises claim, to the most serious cases of death, personal injury, and business torts. We are engaged through both insurers and self-insureds.
We also have extensive experience defending governmental entities and handling subrogation matters, particularly property claims. Mr. Tighe has presented the National Business Institute sponsored program entitled: "Premises Liability: Preparation and Trial of a Difficult Case in Delaware" (1995). At the request of the Delaware Superior Court, Mr. Tighe taught at a seminar concerning Alternative Dispute Resolution. The seminar was attended by attorneys admitted to practice before the Superior Court.
All members of the firm are litigation attorneys with courtroom experience. We also have wide experience with all methods of alternative dispute resolution so that we can aggressively pursue our policy of cost-efficient advocacy in any forum.
Members of the firm have lectured extensively and authored articles on general liability issues and litigation techniques in various publications such as Risk Management, Barrister, Best's and others. Regular articles have been submitted in presentations to various professional seminars.
